#rmdo Moving to Michigan #humor #mikeandmary

This is it! Tomorrow is the official day for me moving to Michigan. Shirk's Piano will pick up my piano at noon, along with a few totes of pictures and several shelving units and 2 big cabinets.
Of course, I've been staying in Michigan 75% of the time since I married Mary, a Michigan girl. But now I will get my driver's license in Michigan.
Sadly, I will have to vote in Michigan. I will miss Indiana politics. Both  parties are more moderate, bi-paritsan, honest, and prolife than other states. On the other hand, Indiana doesn't know beans on how to set up traffic lights.
I'm spending the day finishing up cleaning and burning trash. Tomorrow morning is reserved for caging the two barn cats that Mary wants to make into pets.
Momma cat is friendly but has fiercely attacked when her kitten is upset. The bite marks on my leg are proof.
The kitten is a wild child, so when we throw a blanket over her, Momma will have to already be in a carrier. It's going to be an adventure!! #rmdo

#rmdo Diving Into Chicken Poop #humor

Busy day once I got up. Met a picker who took some of the stuff I couldn't sell at the last 10 or so garage sales. Burned a lot of unsellable stuff today. Went through another massive amount of pictures. Found one picture of Tim Dittmer age 4 or 5, Terry Eshelman age 2 or 3, Ted Dittmer age one or so, and myself sitting in the front of the tiny trailer in The Parable of The Story.
Found another picture of Tim age 2 and myself age 4 at Grandma and Grandpa Dittmer's farm in Southern Illinois. We were there for the summer while Terry was being born.
Tim probably doesn't remember this, but there was a huge pile of dried up chicken poop, which turns into a odorless light fluffy powder after it dries, underneath a perfect climbing tree. Tim, who was a pretty good climber for a little guy, and I took turns dropping out of the tree like super heroes into the pile for an hour or so before Grandma caught us. I never heard a woman grumble so much while she was scrubbing us down in the tin tub. #rmdo

#rmdo Moving The Piano

Mary had to go back to Michigan for the second time this week. I have to stay at the Indiana farmhouse to finish moving some last items to the kids. Mary may come back Saturday or Tuesday.
We got a super deal for moving the piano to Michigan, so much so that I wonder if it's the Lord's way of saying He wants the piano in Michigan. Shirk's Piano offered to move the piano, plus a few items I want to keep, for less than the cost of a one way UHaul, and they will move the piano. Can't beat that with a stick! #rmdo

#rmdo A Perfect World #humor #wisdompoet

God never claimed to create a perfect world. If it were a perfect world, you and I would not be in it. #rmdo

#rmdo Flawed Research Bolster's #Apple in Failure

Flawed research and perspective allows Komtar Worldpanel Comtech to make the claim that Apple iOS has overtaken Android OS for dominance in the US.
The research is based on researcher Komtar calling a selected list of phone owners to see who is switching. This overlooks new customers.
The perspective is also flawed, because even if the Apple iOS has the majority of OS in the US, that dominance would be based on Apple been in a strong #1 position from the beginning, with Android recently passing them, and then Apple slipping back into the lead.
This research totally ignores the facts of the last quarter, that of the NEW phones shipped this quarter, Android trounced Apple almost 5 to 1, with nearly 75% of the share.
Komtars research measures Apple's share of OS from the beginning, a backward looking approach.
Another flawed fact floating around is the fact that Apple iPhone and iPad owners outshop Andoid owners.
That's because Apple's OS was designed around making money off of product sales, like carnival hucksters with a crowd of folks who already anted up a wad of dough to get in.
Google's Android, a free software system given to phone manufacturers, doesn't make money off the phone sale. Google makes money off the ads that run on the system, a time honored way of making money since the early day of radio and television.
Apple needs their ego boosted, since the former 1st place innovator is no longer in first place, and is no longer innovating. #rmdo

#rmdo Denying God's Existence Denies God's Guidance

Agnostics and atheists are quick to blame the God they say doesn't exist for the suffering of the innocents.
They are angry at their non existent God for creating a dangerous world filled with predators, ignorant overseers of mankind, and capricious weather and environments that cause the suffering and deaths of children and other innocents.
The honest heart will agree that we all do this. The atheist and agnostic build it into their theology, but every heart has the tendency to react angrily at suffering, and to turn our collective backs on the Boss, thinking that will teach Him a lesson.
I can't deny the danger of our world, and I can't deny that God hasn't had a hand in the creation of this world.
But let me remind you that God has never claimed to be the Creator of the Perfect World. If the world were perfect, you and I would not be in it. The honest heart will be quick to admit that much danger and suffering is self inflicted.
Turning our back on God, whether through casual indifference or angry denial, does not solve the problem of suffering. It worsens the suffering. It is historically the cause of our suffering.
True, God has created a dangerous world. But He has always offered to be a guide through that danger.
He even sent His Son Jesus to reveal His total commitment to us. We reacted with an angry denial of His Lordship, an anger so deep we collectively Crucified His only Son, our ultimate turning our back on God.
Yet still the Love of God pursued us through the Resurrection of His Son, the offering of forgiveness and Salvation, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit to all who would receive His Son.
Our society, and every individual, stands at a crossroad. We can deny God's existence. But when we deny God's existence, we also deny His guidance.
Or we can turn towards Him. #rmdo

#rmdo Last Dinner at the Farmhouse

Spent the last few hours with the family sorting pictures. We had our last dinner at the farmhouse. Went through perhaps half of the picture storehouse. I also read some of Mom and Dad's early love letters. Threw a lot of pictures away, including duplicates, triplicates, and deciplets?? Lynne took a lot of pictures. Threw away group pictures taken at 500 yards, unmarked and unknown relatives and friends, unknown locations and events. Saved some great ones of Tim Dittmer, Terry Eshelman, Wendelyn Daly, Rebecca Taberski, Charles Daly Jr, Selena Dittmer Boyts, Theo Artie Dittmer, Charli Reeve, David Reeve, Doris and Press, Grandpa and Grandma Sinclair, Kelly Dittmer and on and on.. I will start loading these on the internet in the near future. #rmdo

#rmdo #notredame's year #collegefootball

So, how are my Notre Dame fan friends like Cathy Benko and others doing now? This has been Notre Dame's year. I am surprised they were rated #1. Sports writers normally heavily favor Big 10 Colleges and look down their noses at Notre Dame. I am also surprised they took down USC so easily. USC will be in a depression for years. Please forgive me for smiling when I say that.
I do enjoy watching Notre Dame when they have their act together, and I'm not talking about the players. Firing Willingham, forcing Lou Holtz to retire, and letting that nimrod fire Lou Holtz's defensive coach one year away from retirement was not their most shining moments. #rmdo

#rmdo A Comment About #Blogging #googlefail

A comment about blogging: Google has arbitrarily deleted my store blog. Unclear to me as to what made the automated spam detector focus on that blog. Needless to say, I am very angry at Google right now. I am waiting on more information from them, and waiting on the Lord as to what to do next. There may be radical changes to my internet life in the near future.
I was counting heavily on Google to protect my content, especially my original material and my photos. Deleting my store blog has destroyed my faith and trust in Google's ability and/or desire to be the safe keeper on my storehouse which I have worked literally years to build. #rmdo

#rmdo BRING BACK CHERRY PIES!! #humor #mcdonalds

So, I was talking to my friend Ronald. He was depressed because same store sales were down from year to year and he had to fire his CEO.
So I asked, "Hey, Ronald, when did you guys stop selling those DELICIOUS CHERRY PIES!! HMMMM??!!"
(Just trying to help.) #rmdo
