Mary recovered very quickly after her outpatient surgery to remove a lipoma on Tuesday, February 22. She took me to dinner that night at 9 pm and has been getting around pretty good since then, although she is taking it very easy. She still has some pain, but it is unclear as to whether it's from the surgery or the other pain issues Mary has.
Thank you for your prayers!
From Wikipedia:
A lipoma is a benign tumor composed of adipose tissue. It is the most common form of soft tissue tumor.[a] Lipomas are soft to the touch, usually movable, and are generally painless. Many lipomas are small (under one centimeter diameter) but can enlarge to sizes greater than six centimeters. Lipomas are commonly found in adults from 40 to 60 years of age, but can also be found in children. Some sources claim that malignant transformation can occur,[b] while others say that this has yet to be convincingly documented.[c]
