Earthquake! Pray for Turkey!

‎3,000 rescue workers and 12 specially trained dogs had been called out, says deputy prime minister. Death toll count has been raised to 366 and 1300 hurt, but I'm sure will go higher, much higher.
An after shock  of 4.4 magnitude was felt today, sending fear in earthquake survivors. Thousands are spending their second night outdoors despite near freezing temperatures.
Foreign aid will be accepted, including from Israel, Turkish official says.

Please pray for Turkey. A 7.2 magnitude quake struck Eastern Turkey. Early count of the dead is over 100, but expected to rise rapidly. I have observed early counts rise by 10 fold or more as communications are restored. 
Like Adam and Eve, our society has put knowledge of creation & destruction at a higher value than knowledge of our Creator! In order to bring His children back to Him, God allows the shaking of what we thought was unshakable, so that we will turn to our unshakable God.
We have ignored God in pursuit of our goals, and cut off the guidance of the One we need the most in dangerous times. We have built our buildings in pursuit of profits, rather than out of reverence for life.Forgive us, God.
Heavenly Father, forgive our society for turning our backs on you, and help us by your grace to not turn our backs on our dear friends in Turkey. Supernaturally endow the searchers to find the lost like shepherds find the lost lambs, strengthen those who need to be found, comfort those who are grieving, clear the minds of those who have to make decisions. Speed the help to those who need it, smother the pride of those who might hinder with your humbling Grace.

The devastation of the Japanese earthquakes in these before and after photos from Goggle satellite reveal the awesome massive destructive powers unleashed when a tectonic plate shifts suddenly.

The builders of our society have been short sighted when they, or should I say we ignored God, or related Him to a lower level than the quest for knowledge and ever higher levels of success.
We have been in collective agreement with our ancestors Adam and Eve when we fail to trust Him, to obey Him in the simplest of laws, and when we run from His fellowship.
We are uneasy about trusting the God who obviously made us so vulnerable to a sudden change in environment, and gave us a body that so easily dies. We turn our trust to technology, rather than God's guidance and protection.
Our bitterness over our vulnerability is so deep that when God sends His Son to reveal the way to live in this shell of weakness, we turn against our possible Savior in every way, but in our rejection God reveals that He was right all along. His Strength indeed is made perfect in our weakness.
Am I suggesting we turn our backs on technology? No, for there is no going back on that which is already revealed.
I am suggesting that we no longer turn our backs on God.
The Japanese earthquakes reveal one certain thing. We need God more than ever!
Lord Jesus, aid the rescue efforts going on in Japan, Comfort the grieving. Find the lost. Help the authorities mange the danger of the nuclear plants quickly. Forgive us all for neglecting You as our source of life and guidance.
