Learning Patience through #googlestatistics- #blogspot #blogger

I was discouraged with my blogging progress for a day. I was keeping an eye on daily statistics, which seemed dismally low. Then I took a moment to  review the monthly and all time stats. (this info is provided free to all google bloggers on blogspot.com)
Each of the 3 blogs I now post are having all time high views for the month.
My flagship blog, The Shepherd's Heart Journal, is having an all time high view this month, even though I'm NOT publicizing this blog. The average daily views are 200 and all of those views are from people who seek out the blog.
I also viewed my eStore income, misnamed because it hasn't actually come in yet, but will come in in segments. $180 will be coming in. I was shocked and pleased.
Daily progress always frustrates. Long term progress always surprises.

Mary's Ears Perked UP!

Mary's ears perked up when she heard the Fed EX truck, like Buster her poodle's ears perked up when I rustle a bag of pork rinds. Sure enough, our new Keurig coffee maker for Indiana is here. God is good.
I would not be a good store owner if I failed to mentioned she bought it at MY store for a great price, close to Walmarts's price, and free shipping. And she didn't have to leave the condo! Saved gas, time, and stress!

Thank you, Amazon customers and Parable Promoters

I just received a report that a Parable Promoter purchased something from Amazon from my store. To do that they had to go to Amazon from one of my links on my blog. Since I just changed the format to a dynamic format, I no longer have the ads around my blog, so I am in the process of placing on each blog, right in the blog itself, a banner that will take you right both the Amazon homepage and to my store. See the banner on the top of this blog.
The address will have a theshear-20 in it such as link that follows: http://www.amazon.com/?&tag=theshshear-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=ur1&adid=1E7HPR5ZN0KBVX4VGFNV
My unknown friend purchased the two items that I have put links to in this blog, a Bunn Velocity Brew 10 cup Home Coffee Maker, and a Cut to Fit carbon for air purifiers.
Thanks so much for your support! God bless you!

By the way, all my Ad links are monetized, which means that if you click and buy, I get paid.

What Parable Promoters Need to Know

What Parable Promoters Need to Know!

Very early I selected both Amazon and Google as the organizations I would like to have support my blog, because of their stellar reputations. I was delighted to find out they were willing to sponsor my blog.
Click and buy on any of the Google ad links and Google supports my blog. Buy anything from my stores,
including the endless shoe and clothing store with free shipping US and International, and free return shipping USA,
or smallparts store for industry,
or Amazon Wireless, phones and contracts for 4 major carriers, and Amazon contributes 4% to 15% per sale or $50 per wireless service contract to The Shepherd's Heart Journal.
If you're going to shop anyway, shop here and become a Parable Promoter!
Remember, you have go to the stores through my blog, so that The Shepherd's Heart Journal receives credit for the purchase.  Click on any of the banners here or on my blogs and you'll be directed to the appropriate store. Remember to bookmark the page!
Thank you, and God bless the Parable Promoters!

HELP WANTED

I am, like any one, reluctant to ask for help, but I feel I must, for I have great ambitions for The Parables.
When I first began publishing The Parables, I would have our church pay several hundred dollars to have them published in a local paper.
This actually had incredible results, for we had several families that attended our church as a result.
When I retired my finances changed, but not my ambitions. I would still love to publish these stories in papers around the world. I would also love to travel to countries and read these stories to groups everywhere.
I am naive enough to believe that words can be a catalyst, especially words that glorify God.
I have learned that we have not because we ask not. Because my obsession/ambition is so far reaching, I know very well I will need a lot of help.
There is a second reason for my reluctance to ask for help. I feel very obligated to convey my thanks to those who help me, and I am already unable to keep up with all the wonderful friends who have lifted me up on their shoulders so far.
I feel I should also mention one more topic, ads on my blog. I am thankful that Google is willing to share income with their bloggers. Facebook and Twitter put ads on also, but none of that income is shared with the writers. Hence, I have switched to the blogspot.
It is not a get rich scheme. So far I've earned $5.49 USD on Google Ads and $19.49 at My Amazing Amazon Store.I want to monetize by ads because I strongly feel that tithes and offering should go to local churches, and I am determined that I will not take from that which should go to local churches and missions.
I feel I have chosen well by selecting Google, Amazon, and one other unnamed company to be the ones I work with.
This brings me to the top ten list. I have made up a list of ways that you, my readers, can help me. In typical David Letterman fashion, I will begin with #10 first.

Top 10 Ways to Help Promote The Parables
10. Read The Parables and The Shepherd’s Heart Journal Blog.
9. Allow your heart to agree with those things in The Parable that you know to be true.
8. If you’re on Facebook, hit the like button. It not only encourages the author, it stirs interest in others that come across the post.
7. Facebookers, share these posts with others.
6. Facebook friends, encouage others to befriend me.
5. Tweeters, retweet my posts.
4. Introduce me to other tweeter by your recommendations.
3.If the Google ads stir an interest, click on the link.
2. If you’re already an Amazon customer, or are thinking of becoming one, ALWAYS shop at my blog, which always has an Amazon link. Just click, bookmark, and shop on one of my blog banners like the one below this paragraph to go to my Amazing Amazon eStore for Parable Promoters, and you will land on the Amazon Homepage. Remember to only go to the store through the bookmark.
1. Most importantly, pray for Mary and me, that God will stretch out the tent pegs of the tent called The Shepherd’s Heart Journal, The Gift Parables, and the posts and send us many helpers.
You’ve heard that the 1st shall be last etc. In this case the first AND the last are the most important. Read. Pray.
Many are already doing so much. I am only posting this to stir others to join them. Thank you again for all that you’ve done already.
There has been almost 30 thousand views on my blog, as of December 20, 2011, with almost exactly half of that from outside the United States in 106 countries and interpreted in 34 languages.

God has been providing for my necessities. With your help, The Parables can experience God’s abundance.
It is insanity to believe these stories can, with the help of an all powerful God, change the world.
I love being insane!
