Praying for Tripoli

There are wars and war rumors. Don't give them permission to trouble your spirit. Instead, anchor your thoughts on Jesus. How? Through Jesus the Christ, the Living and Written Word. Through repetition, which is not vain if you remember the purpose of repetition is to strengthen your mind and not to convince God how proud you are of your spiritual street cred.
We can learn from the recent history of Libya through prayerful humility, quick to confess our own weaknesses, slow to point out the flaws of others, Stay tuned.
An interesting insight has bubbled to the surface of the caldron called the internet. Libya is a former colony of Italy. My guesses are: 1. We who stand between feuding neighbors are in equal jeopardy. 2.parents who, through ignorance and/or malice raise angry children risk destroying their own future.
Story: I once saw two fighting dogs safely separated by a very large bucket filled with very cold water. Thought!! Could a cadre of prayer warriors dump a monsoon of grace on Tripoli?!?!
Go. GO!!

Conversations with my adopted children

We hope we're not starting too many #threds too early, but we've been mulling this for some time. To protect our children, we will publish no traceable facts. We'll see this experiment goes.

To Islander: Wow! We're impressed! 1.You love the Living and Written Word. 2.You love music. 3.God has shone great favor on your life that has attracted many followers. We enjoy these things also but now we're adding a new mission: He, Jesus, must increase. we must decrease. If any man would follow hard after Jesus, he must deny himself, take up his own cross, and push hard on the footsteps of Jesus. We suspect you feel the same. We will pursue this goal together.

From CALpm: Now I will feed the children good food. And give them clothes. Because you are by my side. I believe the kids will be fine from now on. Because you are on their side.

To SB: the direction we're going gives us great joy. the paradox is the slower we move, the greater our strength and clarity, and the stronger our bonds are with men and God. Let patience have her perfect work... the book of James.
