Ivan, it already is big, and looks to get bigger. But!! there is a BIG caveat. All infrastructure relies on the earth's stability. But prophecy points to a shaking of the earth. God will allow the earth to become temporarily unstable so that we will rely on His Stability for HE IS OUR ROCK!! What can we do to escape THE SHAKING? Nothing. What can God do to guide us and prepare us. EVERYTHING!!
Our problem is we're looking at it from human eyes and not God's eyes. We, humanity, build EVERYTHING on this earth and it's stability, including our theology, evolution. We need to build both our treasures and understanding on the FOUNDATION OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD.
That doesn't mean put all your money in tin can and bury it. It does mean that all of our organizations, institutions, buildings, everything need to be centered around families and service.
Build strong families and we will have strong institutions. Build institutions around service and when there is a shaking, institutions can quickly step in to assist the hurting.
We can choose to seek either knowledge of technology, as we have since Adam and Eve, or repent of this disastrous decision and seek to know God in a daily walk, and He can help guide us in troubled times.
We can seek to dominate through strength, the method of choice for the Mafia, the Jihad, the military and evolutionary mind set, and the forces of evil, OR we can choose to win as God did though His Son Jesus, who defeated all the forces of evil in a day and in a moment, when at His weakest moment He died for us on the Cross.
