I was asked by a Facebook friend what my business link had to do with an inspirational saying I posted with it. The aswer was ...Nothing. but I thanked her for asking.
I've been posting inspirational and humorous sayings from my collection with my unrelated ebusiness and blog links for almost 2 years. My friend was the first person who's asked.
I'm an internet entrepreneur and professional blogger. I will get my first checks totaling $30 in March after posting for 3 years.
As I said before and as far as I know, I'm the ONLY blogger or microblogger out of tens of thousands who does this, combines inspirational or humorous posts with unrelated business and blog links. That reason alone is incentive for me to continue.

As I said before and as far as I know, I'm the ONLY blogger or microblogger out of tens of thousands who does this, combines inspirational or humorous posts with unrelated business and blog links. That reason alone is incentive for me to continue.
I also like the cleaner timeline, since combining means fewer posts, and I'd rather tell about my Jesus than my business, which is what I would have to do if I talked about my business with every link. My business is my last priority, but it IS on the list.
I am not surprised that someone asked. I am much more surprised that so many have received me so enthusiastically, 43,000 blog views, 1200 Facebook friends, 5300 twitter followers, reaching over 115 countries in at least 37 languages.
I am surprised that people would enjoy my own original quotes as much as or more than famous peoples quotes. (99% of my inspiratonal quotes and 25% of the humorous quotes are original.)
I am amazed that hundreds of people worldwide used Google search to find my sermon Why Good People Go to Hell.
I am amazed that my bounce rate (100% is bad, under 50% is good) is a stunning 3%, which means readers are not bouncing out, but sticking around to read more pages.
Mary is shocked that my most popular blog is The Adventures of Mike and Mary.
My mother is to blame for this. She was a driving force for us to be unique. I hope she's happy now.
The other thing to blame is The Gift Parables and More Parables, stories of how God orchestrated my life with miracles and grace into a living parable. Because I feel STRONGLY compelled to share these links, I started combining the links with my own prayers and praises, another compulsion, for I long to be constantly in the Word and not just copying and pasting. The combined links and sayings was the tool that enable me to do both at once, and has now become my hallmark.
I am not a minister and this is not a church but my own timeline or blog. Since I retired from the ministry, I have decided to go into business. But I still have a passion for Christ and I want to keep Him first in my life and the business last. If people talk about baseball at work I should be able to talk about my passions while I'm working, ie blogging. I am not surprised that someone asked. My blogs are often meditations, but they're for my benefit first. I only started posting them when I found out others enjoyed them.
I don't mix business and religion. I am all business.
My first business or purpose is to seek the Kingdom of God, and all the others will be added.
I am to meditate on His Word night and day and He will grant success in all that I do.
I am a passionate business man with a passion for the Passion.
If I happen to be able to help someone along the way, as the Good Samaritan was able to do on his business trip, then I am especially blessed.
God can helps us thread all of our purposes together so that we get it done in such a way that glorifies His name.
I received feedback on this, which I deeply appreciated because it helped me to clarify my thoughts. Iron sharpens iron, and yes, sometimes the sparks of passion will fly.
