#rmdo Denying God's Existence Denies God's Guidance

Agnostics and atheists are quick to blame the God they say doesn't exist for the suffering of the innocents.
They are angry at their non existent God for creating a dangerous world filled with predators, ignorant overseers of mankind, and capricious weather and environments that cause the suffering and deaths of children and other innocents.
The honest heart will agree that we all do this. The atheist and agnostic build it into their theology, but every heart has the tendency to react angrily at suffering, and to turn our collective backs on the Boss, thinking that will teach Him a lesson.
I can't deny the danger of our world, and I can't deny that God hasn't had a hand in the creation of this world.
But let me remind you that God has never claimed to be the Creator of the Perfect World. If the world were perfect, you and I would not be in it. The honest heart will be quick to admit that much danger and suffering is self inflicted.
Turning our back on God, whether through casual indifference or angry denial, does not solve the problem of suffering. It worsens the suffering. It is historically the cause of our suffering.
True, God has created a dangerous world. But He has always offered to be a guide through that danger.
He even sent His Son Jesus to reveal His total commitment to us. We reacted with an angry denial of His Lordship, an anger so deep we collectively Crucified His only Son, our ultimate turning our back on God.
Yet still the Love of God pursued us through the Resurrection of His Son, the offering of forgiveness and Salvation, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit to all who would receive His Son.
Our society, and every individual, stands at a crossroad. We can deny God's existence. But when we deny God's existence, we also deny His guidance.
Or we can turn towards Him. #rmdo

#rmdo Last Dinner at the Farmhouse

Spent the last few hours with the family sorting pictures. We had our last dinner at the farmhouse. Went through perhaps half of the picture storehouse. I also read some of Mom and Dad's early love letters. Threw a lot of pictures away, including duplicates, triplicates, and deciplets?? Lynne took a lot of pictures. Threw away group pictures taken at 500 yards, unmarked and unknown relatives and friends, unknown locations and events. Saved some great ones of Tim Dittmer, Terry Eshelman, Wendelyn Daly, Rebecca Taberski, Charles Daly Jr, Selena Dittmer Boyts, Theo Artie Dittmer, Charli Reeve, David Reeve, Doris and Press, Grandpa and Grandma Sinclair, Kelly Dittmer and on and on.. I will start loading these on the internet in the near future. #rmdo

#rmdo #notredame's year #collegefootball

So, how are my Notre Dame fan friends like Cathy Benko and others doing now? This has been Notre Dame's year. I am surprised they were rated #1. Sports writers normally heavily favor Big 10 Colleges and look down their noses at Notre Dame. I am also surprised they took down USC so easily. USC will be in a depression for years. Please forgive me for smiling when I say that.
I do enjoy watching Notre Dame when they have their act together, and I'm not talking about the players. Firing Willingham, forcing Lou Holtz to retire, and letting that nimrod fire Lou Holtz's defensive coach one year away from retirement was not their most shining moments. #rmdo

#rmdo A Comment About #Blogging #googlefail

A comment about blogging: Google has arbitrarily deleted my store blog. Unclear to me as to what made the automated spam detector focus on that blog. Needless to say, I am very angry at Google right now. I am waiting on more information from them, and waiting on the Lord as to what to do next. There may be radical changes to my internet life in the near future.
I was counting heavily on Google to protect my content, especially my original material and my photos. Deleting my store blog has destroyed my faith and trust in Google's ability and/or desire to be the safe keeper on my storehouse which I have worked literally years to build. #rmdo
