Pretending - #humor #rmdo #insanity

Pretending to be normal really drains me.

#Worship with the #Family

I'm blessed above all men. Not only am I am living a romantic adventure with Mary, but when we're in Indiana my entire family worships together, then we have lunch together. Today we had lunch at Wendy's home. We were all there (10) except for my son in law Tim, who was down with a recurring nosebleed.

SLOW! CHILDREN TEXTING! #geekhumor #funnypic #rmdc

Here equals Indiana #rmdo #humor

Defining here as Indiana, and there as Michigan:
We are HERE.

A note to Ray Finch - #inspiration #friendship

A note to Ray Finch:
The way that we met the first time, late at night, on Facebook, when neither of us could sleep, comes to mind often. Stay well and keep up the fight, friend. And always remember to have fun, especially on the bad days. Having fun and praising God on bad days terrifies and perplexes Satan. I like that.

#awesomevshumility #cuteanimals #rmdo

Awesomeness runs in my family. Humility we really have to work at.

#boycottapple #applevssamsung #judgekoh asks: Are you Smoking Crack

I had to add this link to my collection because it reveals Judge Koh's attitude and increasing impatience. She obviously feels that this trial is unnecessary, and she is trying to reign in the costs of the trial. I like that. I like her comment towards the Apple attorney's about smoking crack.

#thankyou

I am always honored, humbled, and amazed that any one would find me interesting.

New Wing Hing #Chinese #Restaurant - #NorthvilleMI

Mary and I enjoyed Chinese in Northville recently at The New Wing Hing Restaurant.

#blogging from my #smartphone

I'm attempting to post from my phone today.
I'm in the car while Mary is in the Doc's office. Next we're headed for a movie while we're this close to Livonia. Batman? Bourne? Spiderman? Stay tuned!

Have you read my new book? #humor #rmdo

Have you read my new book? HUMILITY - AND HOW I ATTAINED IT!

I love/hate #Klout - #socialmedia #twitter #facebook

Well, I just signed up for Klout... for the third time.
Klout is a free social site influence measuring tool that works very hard at giving the user information about how they are doing as far as impacting the social internet.
Klout has been good to me, because supposedly I have a high score, between 51 to 60. President Obama has a perfect score with 100.
I've gotten several nice freebies because of my higher score, including several cool things I passed on to my daughters and Mary. Mary has enough toe nail polish to last till she dies.
I also received a couple of things I enjoyed, including a free year's subscription to The Red BULLetin, a magazine for guys and extreme athletes put out by the energy drink Red Bull.
What frustrates me about Klout is that the scoring is inconsistent. I noticed once after I posted a picture that was shared 26 times that my score dropped. I'm also less concerned about my social score and more about my blog views. This inconsistency bothered me so much that I've dropped out twice.
But I'm back in again. They are working hard to broaden their scoring info, which can only help me.
If you like lots of info, and you have nerves of steel, which sometimes I don't, I'd highly recommend them.
If, however, you're easily offended by the stupidity of computer engineers, you may want to wait 6 months before signing up.
Mary is in their corner. She says they're doing their best. Even when I'm really mad at them, I have to reluctantly agree with her.

Bringing light to #Kenya homes: #inspirational #fundraiser

80% of Kenyan homes are off the grid. They don't have electric power, so they use dangerous kerosene lanterns to light their homes. kerosene lanterns cause many house fires, and people, including children, die.
Boniface, a native of Kenya and a friend I worked along side of for years (2? 5? 100?) at Standard Motor Products in Mishawaka Indiana, has decided to do something about that.
He has come up with an idea and turned it into a project which will bring light to thousands of Kenyan homes.
His idea is to combine solar chargers with simple, easily assembled, and inexpensive parts to make an attractive, effective, frugal, and safe lantern that uses neither kerosene nor electricity of the grid.
His project includes fund raising and assembling the kits in Kenya. This project will save rural Kenyans money and, more importantly, lives.
Besides working along side of Boniface, I have been in Boniface's home. He has brought me a gift of Kenyan coffee. I have read stories to his youngest son. He is a real person with a real passion for helping his homeland. I am honored to be able to help by getting his story out.
