Happy Birthday, Rebecca!
My daughter Rebecca had a birthday a couple of days ago, so I sent her a gift card from my Amazon eStore (imagine that! see link below) and enclosed the following note.
I am in awe of who you have become and what you are accomplishing. Happy birthday, daughter of mine, who has ALL of her mother strength's in her, but on the outside, is just like her Dad, but MORE!

Country living in Indiana
Gotta run to the post office and pick up my held mail, drop off insurance forms for a quote and see if I can get my property tax number from my landlord/banker to pay my taxes.
My daughter Rebecca has invited me to dinner tonight, which is always a joy. Then I'll do a late night run to Wal-Mart for essentials.
The joy of country living in Indiana.. quite country nights, clear starry skies, and 24 hour shopping.

Okee dokee
Google spellcheck thinks I misspelled okee dokee. They also think spellcheck is two words.

Microsoft Products Banned in Germany
Oops. It wasn't supposed to happen like that. Any fool can see that Samsung and that evil, insidious Dr. Google, in a nefarious plot to take over the world, produced a clone of the iPhone because, lookie! it's rectangular, and thin, and all screen on one side, and fits easily in your hand, and has a touch screen, therefore Samsung and evillll Google are choking the life out of poor Apple, bankrupting them, and throttling their sales.
Problem is, judges aren't fools. Turns out, when you look a little deeper, Motorola and Samsung have done a little innovating of their own. Motorola has been a leading innovator in the technology world with real products, like cell phone towers and defense communications, not just 1's and 0's and prissy little phones and music players and expensive toys for overgrown boys.
Interesting ploy by Microsoft, and it's ally Apple: Motorola was overcharging for it's patents therefore Microsoft didn't have to pay for them. Now that is the pot calling the kettle black.

Off to Indiana*
Today is Tuesday, May 1, 2012. (reposting*) I'm packing up. Buster and I are headed to Indiana to work on the house and see grand kids (and family, too!) Heading back on Sunday afternoon so I can pick Mary up at her son's place. They'll have just returned from their Disney trip. I'm sure Mary and I will have lot's to talk about. ;-)
Speaking of Disney, here's some cool items for parents and grand parents to get for the little ones. Good prices, too! -*
