#FF @TWDittmer Another interesting post by my brother

There’s a place for me where thoughts flow freely. The raucous noise of the outside world is shut out. The clock stops and I can feel myself breathe. I swing lazily in the hammock of undisciplined thinking, swaying in rhythm with a whimsical breeze. - TWDittmer

#Fiction #writing and #storytelling
Taking characters and scenarios from the imagination and making them believable is an admirable skill of fiction writers. The deep skepticism of humanity makes reporting the truth difficult enough.
My late wife Lynne thought that many of the crazy adventures and stunts I told her about were just stories to entertain her, until she heard my friends reminiscing (remember driving down a flight of stairs in a VW Bug?) about those same stories
The greatest orchestrator of fantastic stories is God Himself. Knowing you are skeptical, I call them Parables. But be warned. You will run across a friend or two who have been there and seen that, and who's stories are disturbingly similar.
#supportchickfila vs #boycottchickfila
Is it wise to bless what God has cursed? or curse what God has blessed?
God doesn't lie. God doesn't change His mind. Live with it. Die without it.

#boycottapple Seattle Rex vs Apple the schoolyard bully
I thought this article was very enlightening about Apple's approach to customers.

Words like snobs, bull headed, pig headed come to mind. Like their "father" Steve Jobs.

#blogtip Using #googleanalytics for self #encouragement
http://www.google.com/analytics/features/index.html
Google Analytics, a free tool offered to bloggers who use Google's www.blogger.com, is a cool tool for me to stay focused on blogging.
Blog readers, indeed all internet social site readers, are like invisible friends who leave few clues that they have been in contact with you. Google Analytics is great for digging up those clues.
I find it greatly encouraging when I read the reports. Today I read that readers came from 39 different language sites. More than half a dozen were English sites but that still leaves over 30 languages that are viewing my blog.
I can also view the number of countries and even cities that view my blog, along with facts about the browsers.
57 countries have viewed my flagship blog, The Shepherd's Heart Journal, for the short period that I have activated Google Analytics, a little over a month. In my ebook, The Gift Parables, tells my story of miracle and grace and how God turned my life into a living parable, viewers from 20 counties have tuned in.
That fact really lifts my spirits and keeps me writing.

#Apple disappoints whining #investors: Vanishing psychological #monopoly
Even though Apple is the most profitable device manufacturer on the planet, beating their own predictions with consistently high growth and profitability, the whiners that have invested in Apple are not happy with just miracles.
I am not an Apple fan, by any means, but their laser focus on profits evidently is not enough to satisfy the frenzy whipped up by hungry investors and greedy brokers.
With Apple stock at historic highs, now would be a good time to take 1/2 of it and invest in something worthwhile, like treating your wife and kids to a vacation.
Perhaps the real reason the investors are worried is Apple's former psychological monopoly on the smart phone market and it's present one on the tablet market are both crumbling under the innovative and market pressure of competitors.
This is what many investors were counting on. It's disappearance is what is really unnerving them.

A #Miracle Inside the #AuroraShooting: One Victim’s Story
When I hear about THE SHOOTING, I'm tempted to ask: WHERE ARE YOU, GOD? then I look a little closer..
