Sending up dinner

My new neighbor sent up some dinner of the barbecue. Looks like a cole slaw with cabbage and cactus slivers, grilled sliced thin steaks, perfect for the home made tortilla shells, baked tater soaked in butter, and 2 grilled hot dogs on buns with the fixins. Yumm!

My daughter Rebecca had a birthday a couple of days ago, so I sent her a gift card from my Amazon eStore (imagine that! see link below) and enclosed the following note.
I am in awe of who you have become and what you are accomplishing. Happy birthday, daughter of mine, who has ALL of her mother strength's in her, but on the outside, is just like her Dad, but MORE!

Country living in Indiana

Gotta run to the post office and pick up my held mail, drop off insurance forms for a quote and see if I can get my property tax number from my landlord/banker to pay my taxes.
My daughter Rebecca has invited me to dinner tonight, which is always a joy. Then I'll do a late night run to Wal-Mart for essentials.
The joy of country living in Indiana.. quite country nights, clear starry skies, and 24 hour shopping.
