Liam's Jumbotron Adventure

The family, under the leadership of Chuck, my son in law and rabid baseball fan, attended a Silverhawks baseball game on a Friday night. Although Mary and I very reluctantly bowed out because of fatigue from babysitting for 3 straight days,
Chuck had gotten quite a bit of enthusiasm and momentum on the game from the family. In laws, neighbors, and family made up a group of 12 people who attended. Everybody got into the festivities, running the bases, pool toss for prizes, and the cheering, especially Liam. He really got into the lifting the arms and waving. He was quite a cute and handsome sight.
Evidently I am not the only who thinks he's cute and handsome like his grampy. The Jumbotron picked up on this handsome little dude and put him on THE BIG SCREEN for all to see for about 5 minutes.

Not all cats are adorable.

AIM HIGH!

My 16 month grandson Liam was getting lessons from his cousin and my grand daughter Libby on how to shoot a basket. Since he also watches his brother play soccer, he's equally adept at dribbling with his foot or his hand. When he gets to the net, either soccer or basketball, he picks the ball and tries to make a basket.

This makes for an interesting style.. especially when he does the same moves bowling. Yes, the little guy did pick up the heavy bowling ball, hefted it over his head, and shot the bowling ball. He scored well.

Unpredictability is deeply imbedded

My love asked: Would a hot tub help painful knees? I respond: I don't know. Unpredictability is deeply imbedded in you. She smiled.

Self Defense Steps For Women

Step 1: Assume a guarded stance.

Step 2: Begin discussing commitment. (I love you! We should move in together! Let's have a baby!)
Step 3: Watch as male flees in terror!

Our Potawatomi Zoo Adventure

Mary and I spent part of the day with grand kids at The Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend.

DALEKS ASSEMBLING! WHERE'S THE DOCTOR!?

Mary pointed & said THE DALEKS ARE ASSEMBLING! THE DOCTOR MUST BE NEAR! (During our 1st year of marriage, 2010 we watched all the episodes of 9th & 10th DOCTORS while I tried to educate her about the other 8. The education paid off!)

Religious Differences

My husband & I divorced over religious differences. He thought he was God.  I didn't. Unknown

Touch of Jesus

God's child changes slowly. The touch of Jesus changes us radically. Jesus, touch our lives.

Those who think they know it all are annoying to those of us who do.
