#googleplus #ghosttown?! Critics #fail to get it

Facebook sends me a dozen notifications a day from gamblers wanting to suck up my time and money. Google Plus doesn't.
Twitter gives me half a dozen new followers a day who are prostitutes. Google Plus doesn't.
Facebook and Twitter throttles my timeline if I post heavily that day. Some Facebook friends sometimes defriend me if I post heavily. Some Twitter friends will unfollow if I don't keep up an incessant chatter or recommend them weekly. Google Plus friends don't.
Each of the social sites has their own strengths and weaknesses. I plan to continue using all three of the major social sites, Google Plus, Twitter, and Facebook. But I'm biased towards Google.
Google offered to monetize my blog, and offered a lot of help in doing so. I've made a couple of hundred bucks so far. Facebook and Twitter made no offers, not are there any plans to do so.
I also have information provided by Analytics (provided as a free service for Google bloggers) that notice that when I post on Google Plus, I have more views for a longer period than when I post on Facebook or Twitter. Like 2 to 3 times as many, and views days after posting, or even weeks after posting.
In fact, even if I don't post links of my blogs to any social site, I still views to my blogs, 300 per day even if I haven't posted for a week. Where do they come from? Google Search.
Google Plus hasn't shared my posts as much as Facebook or Twitter, but that's changing rapidly. Recently I posted a humorous picture about Curiosity, the Mars rover.  It had 9 pluses and 23 shares. Admittedly, the humor was geekier than my normal insanity and cute kittens humor.

For a social media leader, I have strong anti-social tendencies. Maybe that's why I prefer Google Plus. Less chatter, and I get more accomplished.
