In unveiling their new non tablet tablet "Surface" Microsoft aimed at the heart of a market Apple turns their nose up at, the thrifty businessman.
If you want a keyboard in an Apple you have to be a publisher or an educator, and you also have to be well funded. There is no qwerty keyboard in an iPhone or in their tablets other than on their touchscreens.
The Google gang also understands this. Plenty of opportunities to buy qwerty keyboards for the business man or woman not backed by a corporation and on a limited budget in the Google crowd. Microsoft has always included the keyboard, a business necessity.
For the budget minded, Apple only seems to want to make expensive toys.
