From my daughter Rebecca:
I have sadly observed over the past years that none of my children seem to have inherited any passion or natural ability in music or drama. Allie, my oldest daughter, tends to be a bit on the shyer side - preferring to blend into the group unless & until she feels 100% comfortable. Subsequently, my expectations for her in our homeschool co-op's drama class, despite having such a fantastic teacher :), have been that she simply manage to get words out of her mouth coherently and without laughing. So imagine my surprise and great joy today when Allie gave an amazingly expressive and sarcastic performance as Selena Gomez in the "mock-umentary" on Justin Bieber that we're filming in drama class! Dearest Allie - I sincerely apologize for the shockingly low expectations I have had for your abilities. Today, I stand in awe young padawan. Good job. I'm proud of you!
